Termux

Termux is an Android terminal emulator and Linux environment application that works directly without any routing or setup required. A minimal base system is installed automatically, with additional packages available using the APT Package Manager.

Android is a powerful modified Linux operating system, which means many of the same apps and policies still work. This is also true for terminal applications, but these are not as common Android as you might think. Phones and tablets are not ideal as a terminal platform, but it is also not impossible.

Termux brings bash and ZSH shells to s to enjoy them, allowing them to edit files with Nano and VIM, access servers via SSH, use Python, test projects including Git and Subversion, and more.

The app includes several upgrades from the classic Android Terminal Emulator, such as having access to a huge library of Linux packages to install right from the device, as well as some keyboard shortcuts converted to a combination of volume and on/off buttons.
